Futurescape: Our review

Three weeks ago we attended prolandscaper’s event Futurescape, held at Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey. In case you didn’t know: Futurescape is one of the most important landscaping events in the UK and has been running since 2012. Here’s the lowdown and our review of Futurescape 2019.

Anna, our Installations & Sales Assistant, and Jasmine, our Marketing Assistant, travelled down on Monday 18th to set up – putting up the stand banners, rolling out the artificial grass, and setting up the welcome desk complete with samples.

In the evening they attended a networking event, hosted by Futurescape organisers for all exhibitors. There were free sandwiches, free drinks, and even free cake!

Exhibition day soon rolled round, where we showcased our best selling artificial grass, Lush Lawn 35, as well as our whole range of accessories.

We also took along samples of and information about PlaySmart products, including EcoSmart grass mats, JungleMulch rubber mulch and SmartPlay patented shock pad.

Lush Lawn 35 proved to be of great interest to a number of visitors, with many people complementing the authentic look and soft touch. PlaySmart’s JungleMulch also went down a treat due to it looking like natural bark but having all the benefits that come with it being a bonded safety surface.

The show itself was pretty busy, with many enthusiastic visitors attending talks and perusing the stands. We personally found visitors to be a bit like busses – you wait for a while for one then all of a sudden two turn up at once! That being said, the feedback and interest recieved throughout the day was a big positive and all things considered, our review of futurescape is that it was a successful exhibition for both exhibitors and visitors.

then, finally, After a long, successful day of chatting to visitors, we packed up at 5pm and hit the road back up to Birmingham!
